Arriving to Bangalore

How do I get to the hotel?
We have hired taxis to pick you up and drop you off at the airport.

Can I have my own room?

Yes. You will have your own room for the duration of the Production Sprint.

What will the weather be like?

A pleasant post summer warmth will have taken over by then with intermittent drizzles. Approximate high: 33 Degrees Celsius.

What should I bring?
Anything you like. (As long as you bring a laptop and other electronics like mobile phones)

What kind of free time activities will there be?

Where will the Production Sprint be?

The Production Sprint will be held at: The Energy Research Institute (TERI) in Domlur, Bangalore.

What will we be eating?

We will be hosting a welcome and a farewell dinner for the whole group. For the other nights, you will be free to explore the city’s various cuisines and restaurants for which you will be reimbursed.

Lunch will be provided at the venue from the 3rd to the 7th by the catering company Food Vision.

Reimbursements

What do I need to get a reimbursement?
Please make sure you bring all the relevant receipts along with the full bank details (including branch address, IBAN, swift code) for the account you want to be reimbursed into.

Do I need travel insurance?
We recommend that everyone has both valid travel and health insurance valid for the duration of the trip. If you don’t have a health insurance, please purchase one and we will reimburse you.

Who do I contact if I have questions or concerns?

We have several people on and off-site coordinating the event, so just so you know who to go to with which issues, here is a list of all our email addresses and who to go to with which issues
